The people of Aldershot will be forced to live with dangerous coal dust and heavy industrial noise. The township is entirely dependent on tank water collected from their rooves for drinking, and they are worried about the impacts of coal dust pollution on their drinking water.
Please email the Qld Environment Minister, Steven Miles, today. Ask him to reject the Colton coal mine proposal outright, or to amend it to prevent any pollution risk to the Great Sandy Strait and to protect the people of Aldershot.
