Farmers shouldn’t have to carry CSG risks

Coal seam gas mining creates significant risks for rural landholders, including issues around land and water pollution, and insurability for damages. A range of potential impacts are still not covered under Conduct and Compensation Agreements (CCAs).

We are calling for a full review of Queensland’s CCA's so that landholders are not left to foot the bill for damage from coal seam gas extraction.
