Protect Bylong Heritage and Horse Country

Protect Bylong Heritage and Horse Country

The Bylong Valley in NSW is home to spectacular countryside, fine horse-breeding country, and some of the best agricultural land in the country.

It is also the site of the magnificent Tarwyn Park heritage property, the birthplace of the unique Natural Sequence Farming system of regenerative agriculture.

All this stands to be lost if the proposed Bylong Coal Project goes ahead.

It will dig two huge open cut coal pits on the floodplain, as well as an underground mine, and will cause productive groundwater in the area to drop by at least 10 metres.
