They farm where Santos are seeking approval to build the Narrabri Lateral Pipeline. Like other landholders in the region, they reject the pipeline, which would carve a 30-metre-wide corridor for 50-60 kilometres through ecologically significant habitat in the renowned Pilliga forest and some of the state’s best farmland.
Santos wants this pipeline to connect their risky and invasive gasfield to the unbuilt and heavily opposed Hunter Gas Pipeline east of Baan Baa.
