Everyone agrees - we need to act on coal and climate in NSW

A special multi-party committee in the NSW Parliament has just concluded that the 22 proposed coal mine expansions in NSW pose a major risk to meeting climate change targets.

They’ve called for the independent Net Zero Commission to be tasked with producing a dedicated report on the threat posed by coal mine expansions in NSW.

We’re adding our voice to this call - and asking that the report be tabled by end of July this year - and that major coal mine expansion approvals be paused while we wait for that information.
