Ban fracking in the South East of SA

Ban fracking in the South East of SA

The newly elected Liberal Government lead by Premier Stephen Marshall was elected on a promise to ban fracking in the South East of South Australia for 10 years.

And they have acted quickly on it after taking government, but instead of cementing the ban in law, they’ve decided just to implement it through a directive to the public service.

The problem is, that directive could be changed on a whim, through a change of government policy or with a new government.

Email the SA Government

Please take action today by sending a quick email to the new SA Government, calling on them to enshrine the fracking moratorium in law.

Farmers, winemakers, tourism businesses and the community of the Limestone Coast need your support to provide certainty for the future.

Your email will be sent to the SA Premier, Stephen Marshall, and the Minister for Energy and Mining with copies to local MPs.
