The Hunter region has powered New South Wales for more than a century, creating prosperity and opportunity for people around the state.

Now, countries overseas are limiting and reducing their use of coal, meaning our coal mining is likely to reduce in the coming decades.  The Hunter region needs a hand from New South Wales to chart a road to renewal and diversification of industries. 

The Hunter is Australia’s biggest regional economy. To power into the future, we need funding and policy support from the NSW Government to diversify while we’re strong.
